The Virginia Creeper Trail - Rails To Trails
The top picture was taken in Konnarock Va. where virgin timber was taken by the train to be processed at the sawmill.
The lower picture was taken at Creek Junction between Konnarock and Taylors Valley, a part of the concrete platform that the water tower sat on can still be seen today by the thousands of bikers that pass by each year.
